Every year in September, a team of 7-10 young people begin their training as trainee accountants at inforevision. The selection and hiring process takes place almost a whole year earlier. Read here what we emphasize in the CV and application process and get 3 tips along the way.

Help us build a picture of what matters to you

When you apply for a trainee position at inforevision, we need a CV. You can also write an application if you like, but this is optional.
Invest time and effort in writing a good summary as an introduction to your CV. It makes an important first impression that helps us build a more complete picture of you and what matters to you.

In the CV, we look at the jobs you've had in your spare time and/or during your gap year. Also write about your interests and if you are involved in party committees, student councils or volunteer work, we would like to hear about it.

It doesn't matter if you've had many jobs, played sports at a high level or have been a volunteer for many years. We care about quality: What have you learned? What experiences and insights has it given you? In this light, a part-time job in a supermarket counts no more or less than elite badminton.

Of course, the same applies if you've taken a sabbatical

There are no right and wrong answers - we care about the big picture

We need your annual or exam grades because we want to get an idea of your overall academic level. Never mind that you might have done badly in an exam. We are interested in the overall impression. Are you someone who peaks at exams, or are you a year-round performer?

We also look at the difference between subjects and when we meet for the interview, we talk about how you got your grades - is it easy for you or are you a hard worker? Both are relevant to us. There are no right and wrong answers.

If you haven't completed your senior year, just send the grades you have.

The personal profile should ensure a match with your mentor

At the interview, you will meet an HR consultant who has been a trainee at inforevision and a manager from one of our audit teams. We'll talk about what you've done so far - both in and out of school - and your thoughts on the future. There's plenty of opportunity to ask anything you want to ask.

We also create a personal profile. We don't do this to test whether you are 'right' or 'wrong'. We do it solely to ensure a good match between you and the colleague who will be your mentor.

It's common to feel nervous before and during an interview, and that's okay - but know that there's no reason to be.

3 tips if you're applying for an accountancy trainee position

1. Pay attention to language and spelling when writing your CV and any application.
2 Before the interview, think about what you want to ask us. What do you need to know so you can make a good decision? We don't just want inforevision to choose you - we want you to want to choose us.
3. Don't be nervous when you go for an interview. And if you are, just say it out loud - it's okay and we'll take good care of you.
