Trainee portrait of Emilia Kjøller Boesen - Inforevision

Emilia Kjøller Boesen

I always knew I wanted to work with numbers and people - both, not just one of them. That's why accounting is a conscious choice.

Still, I had to think about it a bit when inforevision invited me to an interview after a career day in senior year. I was also going to an interview at one of the big accounting firms and needed to consider what would suit me best.

The choice fell on inforevision. Here I feel that there is a real focus on the individual. I don't feel like one of many or like a 'work tool'.

At inforevision, I am met at eye level and there is room for everyone regardless of the challenges they may have, such as my dyslexia.

inforevision is also of a size that allows you to try many different disciplines and industries and types of cases. You just throw yourself into it.

I feel that anything is possible if you wear the 'yes' hat, and there is also great respect for the fact that we have different levels of ambition. You can decide for yourself how much you want to try and you can say no if it becomes too much.

I like working independently and being in my own bubble in the office - but not all the time. We often work together in teams and groups and I definitely thrive on the variety.

There are more young people here and a larger social community than I had thought. You imagine those gray accountants, but the stereotypical accountant is hard to find in inforevision.

On the contrary. There are always open doors and heart space when you need it - both professionally and personally.

The days go by quickly and you develop much faster than you imagine.

It can be busy because we have school on the side, but I've adapted my everyday life and found a good balance so that I can also do my training and see the people that matter to me.

Right now, my plan is to go all the way and become a chartered accountant. It will be exciting to see what happens.
