Trainee portrait of Oliver Løcke Myrup - Inforevision

Oliver Løcke Myrup

There are several accountants in my family, but it wasn't until I attended some master classes in high school that I really became interested in the profession. I applied and interviewed at several accounting firms, and then I chose inforevision.

inforevision differs from many of the other accounting firms in terms of size. Here, the individual is seen and heard. I'm not a drop in the ocean or one of 100 new employees. It's attractive.

Here I'm not pushed into a big machine, but given responsibility and a place like all my colleagues. It means a lot to me to make a difference and to be able to see what my work leads to. I have a clear sense that my contribution is important for us to accomplish our tasks.

Even though 140 people work here, most people at inforevision know each other, and the building is large enough to ensure a structured training program with a good framework and a great professional benefit for us as trainee accountants. This is really positive.

There are several years of trainee accountants here, so we have a lot of young people, and people are ambitious and committed. We care about our work and maintain a good balance between work and social life - there's a time for professional work and a time to enjoy ourselves and have fun. I think we are skilled and professional.

As trainees, we study HD two nights a week + exams, but there is also time for friends and hobbies if you prioritize it - and I do, because it's important for my well-being.

Professional development is of course key, but for me it's just as important that I feel really comfortable. There's a great atmosphere here and the inforevision values (professional, committed, helpful, unpretentious) fit the reality. No one is too good at helping others and as a trainee you are part of the team from the beginning without being met with unreasonable expectations. We are involved and our needs and wishes are taken into account.

When I finish my traineeship, my ambition is to continue my education. I want to pursue a career in the accounting industry. Now we'll see how far I go. So far, I've landed in a good place.
