Capidea invests in European House of Beds

European House of Beds designs, manufactures and sells quality bed solutions and has been partially sold to the private equity fund Capidea

infotransactions has acted as financial advisor to the buyer and conducted the financial due diligence.

Based in Horsens, European House of Beds started up in 2008 with the objective to manufacture complete bed collections in a modern design and at attractive prices. The company has undergone tremendous development and growth. Today, they sell the beds under their own brands or as private label collections for customers in primarily Denmark and Sweden.

Having worked with European House of Beds for many years, infotransactions was elected as advisor for the financial part of the process, and in the process, inforevision’s other business units, including IT, tax and VAT, also contributed.

Before the transaction, European House of Beds was primarily owned and managed by its founder Pia Rasmussen and CEO Kim Rasmussen, who are still minority shareholders after the transaction. Kim will continue as CEO and Pia as board member, and together with Capidea, they will now continue to develop the company.
